The Quality Circle Time model interweaves a range of ideas to promote positive behaviour, encourage active citizenship and enhance motivation. It has now been successfully implemented throughout thousands of schools.  The approach is potentially powerful because it unites everyone in the same vision.  The aim of 'valuing and respecting others' informs the ethos of the school and the quality of relationships within it. However, emphasis is placed on the need for individuals to first value themselves in order to find the energy to value others.
